We use virtual conference tools provided by third-party service providers as a medium in order to meet together virtually (i.e.: Zoom) that shall be compliant to the general needs of the participants. We understand your concern about security and safety in the digital realm and we have it in our consideration in providing you an easy, comfortable, and secure experience.
Considering the participation of minors during virtual meetings, all participants are required to comply with the following code of conduct:
CODE OF CONDUCT

Exercise consideration and respect in your speech and actions. (i.e.: mute mic to reduce background sounds).

Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour and speech.

Do not disrupt the virtual meeting (e.g., “Zoom-bombing”) or engage in harm or threats of harm of any kind.

Do not make audio or visual recordings of the Virtual Meeting in any medium—and do not distribute audio or visual recordings of the Virtual Meeting (only ANFGC Montreal Representatives may do so with the expressed consent of participants).

Do not take or distribute pictures of or copy research posters/presentation materials unless explicit permission is granted.

Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Alert host if you notice violations of this Code of Conduct, even if they seem inconsequential.

Participants violating these rules will be expelled. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
The third-party service provider will collect some personal information from you. This collection of information may vary, depending on the need set forth by them in order to validate the identities of the users. The information collected from you by the service provider in our choice of such provider shall be subject to disclosure rules of Canadian laws.
RECORDING
The host may utilize its own preferences to limit participant activity such as recording the conference. The host may likewise record the audio and/or video of the conference on its own.
